Roma winger Cengiz Under continues to be scouted by Arsenal and Tottenham, despite signing a new contract this summer.
The winger, who has returned to Italy from Turkey’s training camp with a hamstring injury, is still on the radar of the Premier League pair, as well as Bayern Munich, claims a report.
Turkish-Football say they have spoken with Under’s representatives and although they refused to formally comment they confirmed the 22-year-old is still being watched by Spurs, Arsenal and Bayern.
The European trio all kept tabs on Under during the summer, despite the former Basaksehir man recently signing a new contract extension until 2023.
That extension is believed to have seen his salary increase from €1m to €2.5m per-season, which will in turn rise by an additional €300,000 every season he stays at the club.
There is no release clause included in his new deal and the player is committed to the Italian capital club, despite the continued interest in him.
He told TRT Sport: “I really love Rome, I’m happy to have renewed the contract. At the stadium there is the same atmosphere that one lives here in Turkey.
“I’m not going to start a new adventure. But I missed going home and eating our food. Cetin? I will help him, I hope he will become the owner. I am proud that there are so many Turkish players in Serie A.”
Arsenal have been long since credited with an interest in Under and Calciomercato claimed in the summer that Roma were willing to sell him and placed a €40million fee on his head.
Under though penned a new deal after been hugely impressive for Roma since his breakthrough into the first team. He scored in the first Serie A game of the season against Genoa and is expected to make a bigger impact again this term.
