Paper Talk: Arsenal consider chance to sign Klopp fancy in cut-price deal; Man Utd plot new £25m midfielder bid Arsenal have been offered the chance to buy a World Cup winner for £30m, while Man Utd are readying an approach for one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s major transfer targets, according to Tuesday’s papers.   NABIL FEKIR OFFERED TO ARSENAL IN £30M DEAL Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir for just £30m, according to reports. The World Cup winner came within a whisker of signing for Liverpool last summer and was even photographed in the club kit before the move broke down amid a row over his transfer fee. Jurgen Klopp has retained an interest in Fekir since then, but it’s thought his priorities lie elsewhere and it’s unlikely a fresh swoop will be made. However, the Reds may well be alerted by reports in the Daily Mirror that Fekir has been offered to the Gunners this summer for just £30m. Arsenal are trying to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, but their offer for the Ivorian is likely to fall well short and at this stage, a deal appears unlikely. Fekir, however, could present a different option for Emery, with the playmaker seemingly ready to move on and Lyon unlikely to prevent his sale. Former Lyon manager Bruno Genesio recently spoke out about the midfielder’s frustration after seeing his transfer to Liverpool break down – and suggested he was ready for a fresh challenge. “I think that he [Fekir] was very frustrated with his cancelled transfer to Liverpool at the beginning of the season,” Genesio told French radio station RMC. “He made the World Cup, he had some injuries. He certainly did not feel strong enough to take on the role of leader, which he had done the previous season, relaying technical information on the pitch. “Nabil is coming to the end of a cycle in Lyon. He has experienced a lot of things here. “I think that he needs a new challenge, to push his limits, and to be self-critical. Because we know, we always need a personal challenge in a career, and to ask questions of ourselves.” In addition to Fekir and Zaha, Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Algerian winger Yacince Brahimi, who is available on a free transfer, over the last 24 hours.   Get the latest personalised Arsenal products on our new TEAMtalk Gunners shop!   AND THE REST   Manchester United will make a formal approach to Newcastle for £25m-rated midfielder Sean Longstaff this week (Daily Telegraph) Frank Lampard will merge Chelsea’s academy with the first team to encourage youngster development (Daily Telegraph) Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson is wanted by Crystal Palace as a £5m replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka (The Sun) Arsenal are preparing a £12m swoop for Hull forward Jarrod Bowen (The Sun) St Etienne have told Arsenal they are in “no obligation to sell” 18-year-old defender William Saliba (The Sun) Juventus have confirmed Adrien Rabiot’s transfer is a done deal after former the PSG star rejected the chance to join Manchester United (The Sun) À bientôt, @Adriien_Rabiiot!https://t.co/Xwi9OOn12Z #LiveAhead pic.twitter.com/R4mjueXPCs — JuventusFC (@juventusfcen) July 1, 2019 Manchester United have had an opening £31m offer for Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes rejected by Sporting Lisbon (Daily Express) Tanguy Ndombele is expected to have a Tottenham medical on Tuesday ahead of a club-record deal worth up to £65m (Daily Mail) Frank Lampard is to net a Champions League incentive in a £4m-a-year contract as his Chelsea move is sealed (Daily Mail) Arsenal want to pay ’embarrassing’ £40m Wilfried Zaha offer in payments over five years (Daily Mail) Barcelona are ‘willing to pay the £100m release clause’ for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez (Daily Mail) Barcelona officials are to meet with representatives of Neymar in a bid to seal a Nou Camp return for the Brazil international (Daily Mail) Dejan Lovren’s representatives are in Milan for discussions over a move for the Liverpool defender (Daily Mail) Patrick Vieira appears to have ruled himself out of taking over as Newcastle manager after saying he intends to be Nice boss for the “long term” (Daily Mail)   Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is facing a race against time to be ready for the start of the season (Daily Mirror) Manchester City have bought a giant billboard right outside Old Trafford to advertise their new kit (Daily Mirror) Alberto Moreno has written an emotional farewell message to Liverpool fans after his contract expired (Daily Mirror) Aston Villa are facing a Premier League investigation after selling Villa Park for £56.7m to comply with profit and sustainability rules (The Times) Manchester City are poised to make their first signing of the summer with 18-year-old winger Felix Correia set to complete a £3.1m move to the Premier League champions from Sporting Lisbon (The Times) Newcastle are facing a huge backlash from fans as the season ticket renewal deadline nears (Daily Star) Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann’s release clause has dropped from £179m to £107m as Barcelona close on a deal for the World Cup winner (Daily Star) Rangers are favourites to sign Daniel Sturridge on a free transfer following his Liverpool exit (Daily Record) Tom Rogic is wanted by Zenit St Petersburg as the Celtic ace is targeted in a £9m swoop (Daily Record) Kenny Miller admits his Rangers exit still hurts as he opens up on traumatic 14 months (Daily Record)   The post Paper Talk: Arsenal consider chance to sign Klopp fancy in cut-price deal; Man Utd plot new £25m midfielder bid appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING

Arsenal have been offered the chance to buy a World Cup winner for £30m, while Man Utd are readying an approach for one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s major transfer targets, according to Tuesday’s papers.

NABIL FEKIR OFFERED TO ARSENAL IN £30M DEAL

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir for just £30m, according to reports.

Because we know, we always need a personal challenge in a career, and to ask questions of ourselves.”

In addition to Fekir and Zaha, Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Algerian winger Yacince Brahimi, who is available on a free transfer, over the last 24 hours.
