Tierney is reported ‘to be interested in a move but is unwilling to push for an exit from his boyhood heroes.’ With the Gunners’ interest appearing to be over, the door could now be open for Napoli to swoop in for the full back amid reports that the Italian side have been ‘monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation.’ Unai Emery is understood to be working under a severely restricted transfer budget this summer, with the figure reported to be set at no more than £40 million. In keeping with financial limitations, the Gunners appear to be nearing the completion of a one-year loan deal for Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos.
