However, speculation continued to grow as Football Insider report that they have agreed personal terms with the player, but now one of Pepe’s representatives – Samir Khiat – has firmly denied that. Instead, they have landed in Naples to discuss personal terms with Napoli, the club who looked favourites to sign him up until recently. The Serie A giants are said to be ready to offer a player-plus-cash deal to sign him, which could see Adam Ounas go the other way, though the cash sum is not disclosed.
