Sissoko urges Tottenham to make a move for €70m Man Utd target Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko wants the club to sign Nicolas Pepe this summer. Manchester United made an approach to Lille for Pepe last week, claimed the Daily Record, but Bayern Munich, Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with the striker after a stellar campaign in Ligue 1. Last month Pepe’s agent Samir Khiat name-checked Bayern Munich leading to suggestions that the Bundesliga giants were at the head of the queue for the 21-goal striker. But at the weekend after the 5-0 win over Angers the 23-year-old striker told BeIN Sports: “It’s a goodbye, not a goodbye. Goodbye to next season or goodbye to in a few seasons? We hope next season, why not, we’ll see. Still at LOSC next season? Why not, we’ll see. ” Sissoko though wants to see Pepe at Spurs next term. “I think he has the qualities for England,” the Frenchman told Canal Football Club. “He has already demonstrated his full potential with Angers, this year he confirmed with Lille, what he does is really exceptional. I do not know where he’ll go, but I wish him the best in his future club, and if it’s in England, why not Tottenham?” Lille coach Christophe Galtier last month admitted it will be hard to keep the Ivory Coast sensation. He said: “It’s difficult to keep these type of players in out league. When the biggest clubs in Europe call you, it’s really complicated.” The post Sissoko urges Tottenham to make a move for €70m Man Utd target appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
