Unless Barcelona officials come to a positive agreement on the player, United could have a clear run on Griezmann, with Manchester City and PSG ruling themselves out of the running, and Juventus not being able to afford him. United’s pursuit of Griezmann could be funded by the potential sales of Romelu Lukaku – reportedly one of Antonio Conte’s first targets if he takes over at Inter Milan – and Alexis Sanchez, also linked with the Italians.
