Real Madrid shatter Solskajer’s dream to lure top defensive target Emilio Butragueno says Manchester United target Raphael Varane does not want to leave Real Madrid. The news, if correct, will come as a big blow to Ole Gunnar Solskajer, who is understood to have pencilled in a move for the France international. A report from El Chiringuito (via Sportsmole) on Tuesday suggested that the Red Devils had been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of  Varane. They claimed that Varane had informed Real Madrid that he wanted to leave this summer, amid links with an £86million move to United. Bayern Munich, PSG and Juventus are also believed to be interested in the player French football agent Bruno Satin claims he has spoken to Varane’s agent and brother Anthony about his future and the talk of a move was on the cards. “I don’t think he has fully decided to leave Real Madrid, but he is thinking about it because he has won everything that you can at Real,” said Satin. Madrid have said all along that they intend to keep the 25-year-old with Goal claiming Real would demand the colossal €500m (£429m) release clause if he was to leave. And now Butragueno, who is director of institutional relations at the Bernabeu, has said: “Varane is very, very important. “He has been at the club for a long time, he has given a lot and he will keep giving a lot to Real Madrid. We’ll see, but he is a Real Madrid player and he wants to remain that way.” Returning boss Zinedine Zidane has also voiced his desire to keep Varane, who is under contract with Los Blancos until 2022. “I don’t want him to go. None of us want him to leave,” said Zidane. “He’s still young, he’s been here for eight years, and he’s doing well. It’s life, but he seems fine to me. “He hasn’t said anything about wanting to leave. But if you know something I don’t… “What counts is what the player tells me and right now he is at the best club in the world. He has won a lot here and he seems okay to me.”   The post Real Madrid shatter Solskajer’s dream to lure top defensive target appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING

Emilio Butragueno says Manchester United target Raphael Varane does not want to leave Real Madrid.

French football agent Bruno Satin claims he has spoken to Varane’s agent and brother Anthony about his future and the talk of a move was on the cards.
