Manchester United are confident of signing Harry Maguire this summer, while Spurs will send scouts to watch Portugal U20 winger Jota this week, all in the papers.
OLE WANTS MAGUIRE
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to build his Manchester United defence around Harry Maguire, according to the Daily Star.
The tabloid claim United are confident of signing the Leicester man this summer in a £65million deal after the England centre-back slipped through the net last summer.
Jose Mourinho was in the market for a central defender in 2018 and Maguire was believed to be one of his main targets, but Leicester stood firm and the 26-year-old signed a new contract with the Foxes in September.
Maguire, who is paid around £80,000 a week at Leicester, will double his wages at Old Trafford and is now understood to be willing to move to further his career.
The defender only joined the from Hull in a deal rising to £17million in June 2017 and wasn’t willing to leave so soon after signing.
