Kane says Spurs are not ready to give up on season Harry Kane scored again against Arsenal on Saturday and vowed not to give up on Tottenham’s season.  Kane continued his love affair with scoring against Arsenal while Hugo Lloris saved a 90th-minute penalty as Tottenham forced a 1-1 draw in a pulsating north London derby at Wembley. After Kane had rattled in a 74th-minute spot-kick to cancel out Aaron Ramsey’s first-half opener, Lloris then kept out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 12-yard effort out to ensure a first Premier League draw for Spurs in 33 games. It keeps Spurs in third place, but with still points to make up on Liverpool and Man City. Kane speaking to BT Sport, said: “We came out in the second-half fighting and we put the pressure on with good tackles and aggression. We needed to go on and get the second and thankfully Hugo saved the penalty at the end and that point was the least we deserved. “Over the last week we have put ourselves under pressure but we have done it in the past and every game is a big game. “I feel good three tough games coming back from injury it’ll be good to get the freshness back. “Pochettino wants us to go out there with passion and thankfully we did that.” On his penalty, Kane added: “It evens itself out throughout the season and the game had a few not go our way and that one did. “Two disappointing results in a week, this was the perfect game, a north London derby to show passion and show fans we are ready to fight for the rest of the season. It’s a point, we wanted three but it stops the losing streak and we can focus on Dortmund and then Southampton. “In the first half we had the aggression but they caught us on the counter and final ball wasn’t quite right. We had to come out fighting and show what we were made of and thankfully we did.” The post Kane says Spurs are not ready to give up on season appeared first on teamtalk.com. - SPORT BETTING
