Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are lining up yet another swoop for Chelsea winger Willian, according to the latest reports.
Chelsea and Willian, who is 30, are understood to have held informal discussions about a new deal with his contract contract set to expire in the summer of 2020.
The club have been reluctant to change their policy of offering only one-year contract extensions to players in their 30s over the last few years and even under new manager Maurizio Sarri that seems unlikely to change.
The Sun claim he would like to stay at Stamford Bridge and reportedly wants a new three-year deal, which would take his time at Stamford Bridge to 10 years, but the Blues are only believed to be offering another year for the winger.
The potential stumbling block in Willian’s hopes of staying are down to the fact that Chelsea have a policy of only offering 12 month deals to players 30 or over.
PSG are closely monitoring the situation and could launch a fresh assault this summer. The report claims that they wanted to bring Willian in on deadline day last month but were unable to do so.
The Parisians could possibly lose Neymar in the summer, who has been linked with a return to LaLiga, but The Sun state they will move again for Willian regardless.
Willian has three goals and four assists in the Premier League so far this season, and sign from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala for £30million back in 2013.
