NORTH LONDON DERBY FOR MILAN STAR Arsenal and Spurs are both considering activating the release clause of AC Milan star Suso this summer, according to a report. It was recently claimed that the former Liverpool winger was one of the the player the Gunners were checking on as they get together a target list for the summer transfer window after the collapse of their move for Ivan Perisic. The Spaniard left Liverpool in January 2015 and has since become a star man at Milan, becoming their main creative force under Gennaro Gattuso. Now, Italian paper Corriere dello Sport are reporting that the north London duo are both considering triggering his €40m release clause. The report also states that there are differences between Milan and Suso’s representatives over a possible renewal which could remove his clause. It is claimed that in exchange for the elimination of the release clause, Milan will have to increase the salary of the player, who currently earns about €3million net per season. The paper claims that the Diavolo are willing to offer €4million net per year, while the request of the player and his agent stand at €5m, with bonuses attached. The 25-year-old Suso is regularly linked with a return to Anfield, and in December Liga Financial claimed Jurgen Klopp was planning a €40m move to Liverpool. HUGE TRANSFER PLANS AFOOT AT TOTTENHAM Tottenham have reportedly accepted that Christian Eriksen will leave the club this summer – but already plan to spend the money generated by his sale on as many as five new signings. Classy Danish star Eriksen has just 17 months to run on his Tottenham contract and they now accept it’s highly unlikely the player will sign a new deal. PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked with a swoop and Don Balon claim Spurs will now sell him to the highest bidder this summer. However, rather than feel sorry for themselves, Tottenham plan to use the windfall – likely to be around €110m – to seriously invest in their squad – and the same Spanish outlet claims the club already have a number of targets in mind. Finally, it’s claimed Tottenham have two targets closer to home, with both Bournemouth’s David Brooks and James Maddison of Leicester both in the frame to fill Eriksen’s boots directly. It’s suggested Spurs are willing to pay up to €50m (£44m) to sign either player to replace the departing Dane. Arsenal and Spurs are both considering activating the release clause of AC Milan star Suso this summer, according to a report.

It was recently claimed that the former Liverpool winger was one of the the player the Gunners were checking on as they get together a target list for the summer transfer window after the collapse of their move for Ivan Perisic.

The Spaniard left Liverpool in January 2015 and has since become a star man at Milan, becoming their main creative force under Gennaro Gattuso.
