Former Aston Villa boss claims Man Utd have already agreed major summer transfer Former Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood say Manchester United have already agreed a deal to sign Jack Grealish this summer. It’s a transfer which has been thrown around by the papers for the last few months with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to add to his squad this summer. Bruno Fernandes’s arrival has transformed United’s midfield, but Solskjaer is still chasing midfield recruits and his top two targets are believed to be Grealish and Jadon Sancho. Furthermore, according to the Sunday Express, Grealish has decided that he wants to make the move to Old Trafford. In addition, the paper claims the 24-year-old has told friends he has already found a house to buy in the north-west ahead of the transfer. And now Sherwood, who managed Villa for an ill-fated eight-month spell in 2015, says the deal is done. Whether or not the former Spurs midfielder has any inside information is unknown, but he thinks the transfer has already been hammered out. “I think Jack Grealish is a deal which is already done,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions. “He’s a player that they [Manchester United] need. I honestly believe there’s only one club for Jack Grealish.”       Pushed further on his claim, Sherwood said it was inevitable that Grealish would move to the Theatre of Dreams. “I don’t think he can stay at Aston Villa, he needs to progress his career. I think he signs for Manchester United.” Just how United’s finances are looking in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic is unclear. In fact Ole Gunnar Solskajer said he was waiting to find out the extent of the issues from the board. “I think the pandemic has hit everyone really hard,” he said when asked about his budget. “I still think we need to wait and see how things are panning out. We need to know what kind of financial state we are in.”   SANCHO LIMIT Sky Sports News on Tuesday claimed that Manchester United will not pay more than £50m for Sancho this summer. Apparently “senior club officials” have told the broadcaster that United and Borussia Dortmund are poles apart regarding the valuation of the England forward. The Bundesliga side are believed to be looking for a fee in excess of £100m for the 17-goal, 16 assist attacker, who has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool. However, United are unwilling to part with such a sum in the wake of the Covid-19 problems.
