ESPN reporter Mark Ogden has apologised after a “regrettable” conversation about Harry Kane was leaked on Sunday.
Tottenham striker Kane won and scored a controversial penalty as Spurs defeated Brighton 2-1.
The goal saw the England striker move into the top 10 goalscorers in Premier League history.
Leaked footage shows ESPN’s Alexis Nunes and Mark Ogden talking about Kane’s performance before halting the conversation.
Ogden was replying to Nunes’ question about Kane’s prowess, but stumbled on his words and ended the take.
Nunes laughing, said: “Oggy’s like: ‘Do I have to talk about this mofo (mother f*****)?’
Ogden responds: “It’s just really boring, isn’t it?’
A producer is they heard saying: “I hate hearing him speak. He’s got a weird voice.”

Ogden then jokes: “Shall I do it in the style of Harry Kane?”
The producer then says: “Yeah. Through the whole thing in that. That’s what stands out about him.”
Nunes then says: “Yeah, his voice. Literally. For someone who speaks like that, thank God he plays football.”
The footage found it’s way on to Twitter and Youtube and Ogden has now offered an apology.
Ogden tweeted: “An inappropriate conversation with our producer was accidentally posted publicly for a short time before being taken down. Our comments were clearly disrespectful and regrettable. We have the utmost respect for @HKane, a consummate professional and role model to youngsters.

Ndombele reveals all
Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele says he and Jose Mourinho have worked out their differences and are keen to move forward together with Tottenham.
Ndombele endured a tricky first season at Spurs after joining them from Lyon last summer. He only started 12 games in the Premier League, with the last of those coming in March.
Therefore, there were rumours that Tottenham could cut their losses on Ndombele over the summer. Inter Milan were a potential suitor, and Mourinho wasn’t opposed to the sale.
However, it did not go through, meaning Ndombele has been given a second chance at Spurs. It is one he seems to be taking, as he has already started five league games this season.

Mourinho has confirmed he has been impressed with the Frenchman’s “evolution”, and Ndombele himself has now revealed how they have turned things around.
Reflecting on his first season in the Premier League, Ndombele told Canal Plus (via Sport Witness): “I didn’t play a lot. It wasn’t easy to live with, but it’s a good reality check.
“A lot of things happened very quickly at the start of my career. The main thing is to get back up.”
